The next major development in the City of Dublin involves the Riviera Country Club located on Avery Road just south of Grizzell Middle School. The 167 acre property holds a golf course, which opened in the 1970s. Virginia Homes purchase the land in 2015 for development, which is expected to begin in 2016. The most recent build proposal includes the development of 176 single-family homes, 61 acres of open park space, and bike baths that connect to the rest of Dublin's and nearby schools (Deer Run, Grizzell, Jerome).
